Art Nouveau Anniversary Card

Hi,

Neil (my husband) and I celebrated our 17th Wedding Anniversary in June. I made him the below card using the Art Nouveau Cricut Cartridge.  The sentiment is from Stampin Up. I have used shades of pink for the flowing material and added small flowers. The main dress is cut from a shiny cream paper I had in my stash. I have added sparkles through her hair but sort of wish I hadn't now.

The next card is what Sophie made us. Isn't is great. She is so talented and made this on her own without any help. The heart die cut is from Memory Box. We were very please to receive her beautiful card.
Thank you baby!

Tea Cup Easel Card

It's my Mum's birthday on Saturday 27th July. I made her the below card as she loves her cups of tea! I made the cup like an easel card so it stands up. I cut a spoon on the Cricut and added foam dots to raise it so the cup sat nicely behind it. The doily that the card sits on is from Paper Lace Cricut Cartridge. The cup is made using the large Spellbinders Nested Tea Cup die. I have just used a scallop punch and stamped Happy Birthday on it from the Stampin Up Well Scripted Stamp Set.

Hope she receives it in time for Saturday. Luckily the UK has a postal delivery on a Saturday morning. Happy Birthday for Saturday Mum, Love and miss you loads.

Thanks for looking. x

Please don't feed the bears

This one is for my cousin's husband. It was his birthday at the end of June. I had the Bear stamp, he is from the Under the Stars stamp set. I used the sign and card from the Campin Critters Cartridge. I coloured the bear using my Spectrum Noirs and added googly eyes for a bit of fun! I think he looks cute.

I had already made 4 other cards that night so I was running out of steam and ideas. Sometimes I think simple is best and not to over think what I want to do with card ideas otherwise I just sit there looking at all my stuff saying what am I going to use??

Thanks for Looking.

Boys 2nd Birthday Card

Hello,

The card today is for my Great Nephew who turns 2 soon. I have cut the car from B for Boys Cricut Cartridge at 4 inches. The trampoline is from Everyday Paper Dolls. I cut two images, one in silver and one in black and paper pierced together. The ball is from a Stampin up set I have and so is the monkey, he is from Fox and Friends stamp set. The clouds are from the Stampin Up cup cake punch. All on an A5 sized card.

Hope he likes it!

Thanks for Looking.

Donkey University desk Calendar

Hello,

The below picture is a calendar I made for a colleague using the Donkey University Stamps from There She Goes. They are so sharp and great to stamp with.  I have made 4 donkeys and coloured each one with my Spectrum Noirs. I have given them a different saying on their t-shirts. They are soo cool!  I have also made them magnetic so she can change her donkey depending on what type of day she is having. I have placed a strip of magnetic tape under the stripe paper and also on the back of the donkey's so they come together.

The t-shirt sayings are "Sexy and I know it, I'm with stupid, Stud and then a muffin shape and the last one is I rock budgie smugglers".

Just love them.

Thanks for looking.

30th Birthday Cards

Me Again.

These two cards I made are for my Niece and Niece in Law who both turned 30 in February. I have been going through my photo's thinking I sure I've made more than I have posted and I have just come across them in a file, in a file. Talk about storing them safely!

Both are easel cards, the top one again is using the Papermania Strictly Party stamp and the one below is a Kaisercraft stamp. The backgrounds are from a scalloped paper pad so basically most of the work is already done! A nice quick(ish) card. The 30's are cut from different fonts with the cricut.

Monster High Cupcakes - Take 2

Sophie had a belated birthday at the local park with her school friends. I made the Monster high cupcakes again and they turned out better as I had bought a small piping nozzle I also tried a different icing mix. I also made a Monster High banner but because of the position and light I couldn't get a good photo :(

The treat bags were just brown bags with a Skull cut out from Rock Princess.  Sophie and I also created a Pinata from a paper mache balloon and then painted it purple and added leopard spots.I cut the leopard print from the Boho Cricut Cartridge and used this as a template to add the spots.

Again thanks for looking.

A couple of cards I have made recently...

This one was for my Sister. When I showed her the image a while back she loved it so I thought I'd make her a card but make the front look like a frame so she could just have it on her shelf. The image is from Kanban Stamps and coloured just using pencils. I have then chalked around the edges. The frame was just white card run through the wood grain embossing folder and the inked with a distress ink.

The next card was made for another friend. The light hasn't picked up really well. The card is a light bluey/Green shimmery colour. I used Spectrum Noirs to colour the image in from Papermania Strictly Party that came with a magazine around Christmas Time. I added the Pennant from the Pretty Pennants Cricut Cartridge, resin chocolate rose, Martha Stewart punched butterfly and notched dies with Celebrate stamped in White to stand out.

Father's Day card

Hi,

This is the father's day card I made using the Wild Card 2 Cricut Cartridge. I chalked the clouds behind the balloon. I also added the Grandad banner along the bottom so it would stand up straighter. Thanks for looking.
